Nagpur: After his comments on Congress President Sonia Gandhi, former Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS) chief KS Sudarshan has been avoiding the media leaving it on to the Sangh and the BJP to answer the questions. Now, there are voices against Sudarshan from within the RSS.
"These are uncivil and unjustifiable remarks. This can be his personal opinion...we cannot comment on anyone's birth in a civil society," said MG Vaidya, a senior RSS leader.
Well, Vaidya is known for his rivalry with Sudarshan, but this is the first time that he has spoken openly against the former Sangh chief.
"His statement has diluted the effect of the Novemebr 10 nationwide agitation by the RSS," added the senior RSS leader.
On the other hand, the Congress protests against Sudarshan continue. The Party now insists on an apology from the Sangh and the Bhartiya Janata Party(BJP). The BJP is getting restless and wants Congress to stop demonstrations outside Sangh offices.
"We have expressed regret... these protest should now stop... or anything can happen," said Prakash Javadekar, BJP spokesperson.
The Sangh, which known for its discipline, has certainly suffered a great setback due to Sudarshan's remarks. The discipline-tutoring family now seems to be on a spot trying to wade its way through.
