A big electronic screen to show live feed of Rio Olympics was installed in east Delhi.
A big screen was on Saturday installed by East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) in east Delhi's Laxmi Nagar area for people to enjoy the experience of the Rio Olympics with live feed.
"We have installed a big electronic screen to show live feed of Rio Olympics," Mayor, EDMC, Satya Sharma said.
A tricolour was hoisted during the function.
Mr Sharma said "we have also installed a 'Wall of Wishes' to cheer the Indian players competing at the 31st Olympic Games in Brazil".
On the occasion, EDMC Standing Committee Chairman Jitender Choudhary said "it is a way to connect with the public at large, especially children and youths, in keeping with the Olympic spirit."
