Last week, the Class 5 student took his sister - who studies in Class 6 - to the middle school for her half-yearly exam. To help his sister during the exam, the boy threw a chit in the examination hall, said the police. By mistake, the piece of paper hit another girl who thought it's a love letter and informed her brothers after school. The brothers and their friends thrashed the boy, the cops added.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Himanshu said the police immediately rushed to the spot and deployed the canine unit to find the missing body. They said when it was found, the family members were called for identification. They recognised the clothes after which the police confirmed it is the body of the missing boy.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Vinod Kumar Singh and other officials met the family of the boy to take some details. They said the 12-year-old was a very intelligent boy.
