Nitish Kumar Admitted To AIIMS, Being Diagnosed For Lung Disease

Nitish Kumar has been suffering a bad cough and viral fever. Doctors suspect that the chief minister might have a lung disease known as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, or COPD.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was admitted to AIIMS in Delhi for a health check-up today. This is the first time since 2004, that Mr Kumar has been admitted for a health check-up.

Mr Kumar, 67, was admitted to the private ward of the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences at around 8:30 am.

Mr Kumar has been suffering a bad cough and viral fever. Doctors suspect that the chief minister might have a lung disease known as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, or COPD.

A full check-up and diagnosis has been carried out, the reports of which are yet to be released.
