Muzaffarnagar:
The BJP has been denied permission to hold a rally of its leader Varun Gandhi in Saharanpur next month, a senior official said on Tuesday.
Saharanpur Additional District Magistrate Niraj Shukla told reporters that the local unit of BJP had sought permission to hold a rally of Pilibhit MP Varun Gandhi on March 11.
Sources say the government has, in writing, told Gandhi that he has been denied permission on the grounds that this is a communally sensitive area.
