New Delhi:
There is rebellion in the Rajasthan unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the central leadership's decision to ask Vasundhara Raje to step down as Leader of Opposition.
There are reports that party president Rajnath Singh has said that the meeting of MLAs, called by Raje on Saturday in Jaipur, is illegal, as the party leadership had made it plain that it wants her to go.
Raje has so far remained defiant and sent her loyalists to Delhi to fight for her cause, but Lal Krishna Advani, known to be her supporter, snubbed her loyalists by refusing to meet them.
Raje has now been called to Delhi to meet the central leadership.
