New Delhi: BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri was reportedly admonished today for misbehaving in the Lok Sabha and allegedly making a hate remark against Muslim lawmakers of the Congress.
The incident allegedly took place during a row in Parliament over Sena MP Rajan Vichare force-feeding a Maharashtra Sadan staffer who was fasting for Ramzan.
Congress MPs targeted members of the Shiv Sena as well as their BJP allies.
Mr Bidhuri was seen rolling up his sleeves and shouting at Congress MPs. He had to be dragged back by other BJP members.
Congress MPs walked out and wrote to Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, demanding action against Mr Bidhuri for using "unparliamentary language".
The MP, who is from Delhi, denied making those comments but later apologized in the house.
The Speaker, Sumitra Mahajan, had asked him to apologise unconditionally and reportedly rebuked him.
Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia told NDTV that the apology was "qualified" and not satisfactory.
