Speaking to the industry body ASSOCHAM today, senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj highlighted the need for changing the condition of women in the country.
Here are the highlights:- India can be made vibrant India only by improving the condition of women
- In the report, challenges and suggestions have been listed
- They have identified 12 problems
- Not a single problem has been mentioned without stating facts
- There 16 findings and 15 recommendations on how to address these challenges
- On one side, women are at crucial posts. They have entered areas which were once considered male-dominated
- But there's another side, where the are the victims of dowry-related crimes,
- Acid attacks, sexual offences
- There's no balance in the growth of women
- These are shameful acts
