BJP MLA Hukum Singh speaks to NDTV on Muzaffarnagar violence. The highlights:
- I have not uploaded any video on YouTube.
- I think extensive inquiry must me made & then if he is found guilty , he should be booked
- Mahapanchayat represents the public and if 50,000 people want me there, how can I refuse?
- How could I infer that there could be violence there or that the gathering is not in the right direction?
- The moment I went there, I realised the gathering could not be managed.
- The crowd wasn't bothered with whatever leaders were saying - everybody was booed.
- They wanted me to speak only about Mr Modi and to project Modi as PM.
- I spoke for two minutes and then got down.
- Of course I am for Modi and wish he becomes PM.
