Azamgarh:
In a shocking incident, BJP MP from Azamgarh, Ramakant Yadav, has allegedly fired at Ulema Council members. Two people are reported to have been injured in the incident.
The firing took place after an argument between the MP and the Ulema Council chief on Wednesday.
The incident took place at Phulpur near Azamgarh when the MP's motorcade was passing through a market where the Ulema Council was having a meeting.
Additional forces have been sent to Azamgarh. The incident has triggered protests in the area against Yadav where protesters hurled stones and raised slogans against the MP.
