BJP parliamentarian Kirit Somaiya on Friday wrote to Justice (retd) SN Dhinga, who is heading the probe into the controversial land deals in Gurgaon district, and provided more documents to investigate the alleged involvement of businessman Robert Vadra's company Skylight Hospitality.
Somaiya also accused Vadra, the son-in-law of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, of making Rs 58 crore against a capital investment of Rs one lakh.
"Robert Vadra ka Kamal - Gurgaon Sweet Deal - Made ? 58 crore against ? 1 lac - I request ED, Justice Dhingra, CM to inquire," Somaiya tweeted.
Somaiya alleged that Vadra's firm, Skylight Hospitality, "registered the purchase of 3.531 acres of agriculture land in Gurgaon for Rs 7.5 crore", using a false cheque and the amount was shown as payment made to the vendor M/s Onkareshwar Properties.
"It was claimed in the deed that Rs 45 Lakh towards stamp duty was also paid in cash by Skylight Hospitality. The advances received from M/S DLF were used to pay for the cost of land and stamp duty later. The land with commercial colony license permission for 2.701 acres was sold to M/s DLF for Rs 58 crore," Somaiya said in the letter.
Vadra had termed the inquiry commission a "political witch-hunt" launched against him by the BJP government in Haryana.

The one-man commission, set up by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Haryana in May last year, has been asked to probe controversial land deals in Haryana, including the land deals of Vadra.
