New Delhi : Setting the tone for the 2019 parliamentary election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, coined a new slogan, 'Ajay Bharat, Atal BJP', highlighting his party's commitment to its core values and the country's progress and forward march under its rule.
BJP party president Amit Shah told office bearers that the BJP will get "absolute majority" in the 2019 assembly elections, during the national meeting yesterday.
The meeting was attended by national office bearers and state BJP presidents who discussed the party's preparations ahead of elections in four states and the national election next year.
As the BJP members adopted "Ajey BJP" as a slogan, remembering the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also tweeted, "This is the first National Executive meet of BJP without Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji".
At the second day of the BJP national executive meet today at Ambedkar International Centre, in the national capital, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh moved BJP political resolution. The party passed a resolution reaffirming its commitment to build "New India" by 2022, and said the opposition's plan to defeat BJP in 2019 is a "day dream".

Addressing the achievements of the party and Prime Minister Modi, Mr Javadekar said, "BJP will return to power in 2019 with more seats than 2014. PM and Amit Shah are a unique combination. Today 19 states have BJP with over 350 MPs and 1500 MLAs."
