Jaipur: Opposition BJP held demonstrations across the state today demanding rollback of hike in power tariff.
Criticising Gehlot government for the hike in power tariff, party workers staged sit-in at district headquarters in the state.
"The ruling Congress had promised in its manifesto not to raise power tariff for five years but it had raised power bills by 53 per cent in recent years," state BJP vice president Arun Chaturvedi said.
In the state capital, hundreds of BJP workers organised a sit-in at Bari-Chaupar.
