New Delhi: The BJP today questioned the delay in convening the monsoon session of Parliament. "The Government is afraid of facing the Parliament because not only are its own MPs from Andhra Pradesh unhappy with its, even its allies are not at ease," said BJP Spokesman Syed Shahnawaz Hussain.
"The Government is anxious and is under constant fear as to its future and the delay in calling the session of Parliament puts a question mark on whether the UPA enjoys a majority at the Centre or not," Mr Hussain added.
The BJP, he said, wanted all Parliament Sessions to be held as scheduled. "We will support the government in running the Parliament, but at the same time not let the government get away on addressing important issues."
