Taking a dig at Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi, BJP today said he had stopped visiting Dalit homes "with the inflation becoming a major issue in the country."
"With inflation becoming a hot issue in the country, Rahul has stopped visiting the Dalit localities," BJP National Spokesperson Ramnath Kovind told reporters here.
The Congress' "wrong policies" have triggered price rise, he alleged, adding it has dealt the worst blow to Dalits.
The young Congress MP has not come out with firm steps to improve the economic and education status of Dalits even after being well-versed with their condition, he said.
