New Delhi: BJP today dug up old tweets of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to attack him for supporting his Bihar counterpart Nitish Kumar's bid to retain power in the state, and said their alliance was solely aimed at derailing its agenda of development.

Today, as Mr Kejriwal travelled to Bihar to join Mr Kumar at an event, BJP played up Mr Kumar's alliance with Lalu Prasad-led RJD and Congress, two parties assailed by Mr Kejriwal in the past, to hit out at the AAP leader.

BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra quoted Mr Kejriwal's tweet of October, 2013, where the Delhi Chief Minister had termed Mr Prasad's imprisonment and Rs 25 lakh fine in a fodder scam case as a "sweet deal".

In a press conference, he also highlighted a tweet by Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in which he had talked about hearing the stories of Mr Kumar's and Mr Prasad's "goondaism" during his Bihar visit.

Taking a dig at the Delhi Chief Minister's attempts to distance himself from Mr Prasad while supporting Mr Kumar, Dr Patra asked him to come clean on his relation with the RJD leader.

He said the AAP leader ended up teaching a lesson to Chief Minister Kumar in good governance by claiming that the Centre's and the Delhi government's models of governance were only two models in the country today.

JD (U), RJD, Congress and AAP have all come together to derail BJP's developmental agenda in the state, Dr Patra said.
