West Bengal: A Trinamool Congress activist was injured and his wife was killed when a bomb exploded outside their house in West Bengal's Birbhum district late last night.
Buro Hansda and his wife Churki Hansda were sleeping outside their mud hut in Kulupdanga village when an unidentified person hurled bombs at them around midnight.
While 40-year-old Churki died on the spot, her husband suffered injuries and was rushed to the Bolpur sub-divisional hospital.
The police are investigating if a political rivalry or a family dispute was behind the attack.
