Dumka, Jharkhand: Five bombs were on Friday recovered near railway tracks at Sugnibad village in Dumka district, police said here.
On a tip-off, police found the explosives in a bag lying on the tracks, Deputy Superintendent of Police Pitambar Singh Kherwar said, adding that the bombs were defused.
The 8619 Jassidih-Dumka local train was stopped near Ghormara railway station after the police informed the railway authorities about the discovery of bomb, Dumka station master Mr Sriprakash said.
