Border Security Force Apprehends Two Men, Seizes Fake Indian Currency in West Bengal

Kolkata: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Tuesday said it has nabbed two people and seized fake Indian currency notes of face value Rs.1 lakh from them in West Bengal's Malda district.

Acting on specific intelligence input, BSF personnel apprehended Akhilesh Kumar and Nasim Miya on Monday with the help of police and seized the fake currency in Kaliachak area, a BSF release said on Tuesday.

Akhilesh Kumar (23) is a resident of East Champaran district of Bihar, while Nasim Miya (50) hails from Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh.

Both of them were handed over to police for further interrogation.
