Both Houses of Parliament were adjourned minutes after opening today, with the Opposition on its feet over the alleged scam in the allocation of the 2G spectrum.
The Rajya Sabha was first adjourned for 15 minutes. It resumed only to be adjourned again till noon after the Rajya Sabha Chairman's plea for order was not heeded by the Opposition.
The Lok Sabha too was adjourned till 12 noon. AIADMK MPs demanded the resignation of Telecom Minister A Raja. DMK chief and Tamil Nadu chief minister K Karunanidhi has ruled out the possibility of Raja resigning, but is in the Capital meeting Congress president Sonia Gandhi and the Prime Minister.
