A two-and-a-half-year old boy who fell into an 80-feet deep open borewell last evening in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan died today.
Sandeep was playing in a farm when he accidentally fell into the borewell in Goluwala area, Sub Inspector of Goluwala police station, Buta Singh said today.
Rescue operations were pressed into service and the body was pulled out with the help of a hook in the wee hours of today, Mr Singh said.
The body has now been handed over to the family members, he added.
