One jawan injured in ceasefire violation by Pakistan
Jammu:
A Border Security Force jawan is reported to be injured in yet another ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sources said firing is still on in the Samba sector, almost 300 km away from state capital Srinagar.
Yesterday, Pakistani troops targeted forward posts along the LoC in Poonch district with mortar shelling and automatic weapons, prompting Indian troops to retaliate.
2013 has witnessed several fold increase in the ceasefire violations as Pak troops violated border truce nearly 130 times along the LoC - highest in past 8 years.
