New Delhi: Both houses of the parliament were adjourned till tomorrow amid loud protests and sloganeering from opposition parties demanding a discussion on and an investigation into allegations of fraud against the Adani Group.
Amid the ongoing Hindenburg-Adani row, the Congress is holding countrywide protests in front of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) offices and State Bank of India (SBI) branches. Congress MPs will also protest near the Gandhi statue in Parliament House today.
Both houses of the Parliament was adjourned till Monday after massive protests by Opposition over the Hindenburg report. The Opposition has been demanding a discussion on the Adani row, besides inquiries by a joint parliamentary committee or a Supreme Court-monitored panel.
