Prime Minister Narendra Modi's third Instagram photo was a scenic view of the Pacific from Suva, where he landed early on Wednesday. "Bula from Fiji! On the shores of the Pacific Ocean, among wonderful people," said the accompanying message.
The Fijian term Bula, pronounced "boo-lah", literally means "life", but it has a variety of meanings. When used as a greeting, it wishes people good health.
The 64-year-old Prime Minister had debuted on Instagram last week, with a photo of Myanmar, where he had gone to attend the ASEAN summit.
His second photo was clicked with Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott in Canberra, showing the two playing with toddlers at the Parliament creche. "PM Abbott & I turned photographers!" the caption read.
Within minutes, his latest photograph was "liked" by over 5,000 followers. Close to 30,000 followers have "liked" his first photo.
The social media savvy Prime Minister already has 1,23,464 followers on Instagram, a photo and video sharing site.
He has close to eight million followers on Twitter, where he has over 6,000 posts since joining in January 2009.
Before flying out from Melbourne, the Prime Minister shared some photographs. "Thank you Australia! Past few days have been excellent. Sharing some photos from this memorable visit," his Twitter post read.
