Cabinet reshuffle: TMC, DMK left out for now
New Delhi: While Mamata Banerjee wanted another Cabinet berth for her TMC, she will have to wait till May, when another Cabinet reshuffle is likely.

The DMK has also not been given a berth in exchange for A Raja's exit in November as Telecom Minister. Mr Raja, a senior DMK leader, was forced to quit in connection with the 2G spectrum scam. Kapil Sibal from the Congress has been handling Telecom since then.

Congress sources say the party is keen to wait till after the elections in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal to decide whether the DMK and TMC should be better represented in the Cabinet.
