Laying stress on education, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today said that the countries, which have progressed, first ensured strengthening their educational system.
"We cannot progress without education. All the countries, which have progressed economically, first ensured strengthening of educational system," he said.
Inaugurating the Rafeeq-ul-Mulk IAS study centre at Urdu Academy in Lucknow, the Chief Minister said it would provide all possible help to students aspiring for the most difficult examination in the country.
He said that setting up the center for Urdu students was an appreciable step.
Mr Yadav expressed confidence that a change would come and every person would get equal opportunity.
Advising the students to keep an eye on political developments, he said, "along with studies, there should be an eye on politics."
The state government was working for the welfare of all sections of the society, he said, adding, that the country could progress only after following the path of secularism and change would come when all get opportunity to progress.
