Pune:
Anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare today termed the tussle in the Aam Aadmi Party as its "internal matter" and said he was in no position to offer any advice to its warring leaders.
Asked about the expulsion of dissident leaders Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav from AAP's National Executive and turmoil in the party, he said it was an "internal matter" of the outfit which posted a stunning victory in Delhi Assembly polls last month.
The one-time mentor of AAP Convener Arvind Kejriwal said "that is beyond my thinking", when asked whether he would like to offer advice to the beleaguered party leadership.
The veteran social activist, who was recently extended courtesies by the Delhi Chief Minister in the national capital during the former's protest against the Centre's Land Acquisition Bill, was talking to reporters at his native village Ralegan Siddhi in adjoining Ahmednagar district.
Mr Hazare and Mr Kejriwal were two most prominent faces of the Jan Lokpal movement. They fell out after Mr Kejriwal decided to launch a political party in October 2012.
Meanwhile, activist MedhaPatkar, who earlier in the day resigned from AAP, told a news channel that she was "pained" at the denial of entry to some party members, including internal Lokpal L Ramdas, at today's National Council meeting.
"Arvind should have taken everybody along with a big heart," she felt.
