Can't revoke ban on pre-paid phones: Centre to Supreme Court
New Delhi: The Central government has told the Supreme Court that the ban on pre-paid connections in Jammu and Kashmir cannot be revoked, as terrorists activities have come since the ban was implemented.

Pre-paid mobile connections were banned in the state due to security reasons.

The Panthers Party had challenged this ban in the Supreme Court. Now, the apex court has directed Panthers Party to reply to Centre's stand. The case will be taken up on January 25.
