Captain killed in Kashmir encounter

Tral, Jammu & Kashmir: In yet another encounter in Kashmir, an army captain has been killed fighting militants in Dadsar village in south Kashmir's Tral area.

The encounter which began on Wednesday morning took the life of Captain Deepak Sharma of Rashtriya Rifles, three other soldiers have been injured in the incident.

Two militants were killed earlier, and another was believed to be hiding. The army is now searching the area.

The gun battle started after police received a tip off about the presence of two Hizbul Mujahideen miltants in the village.
