New Delhi:
Samajwadi Party MP Reoti Raman Singh will be quizzed by the Delhi Police in connection with the cash-for-votes scam on Monday.
A notice was issued to Singh on Friday evening by the Crime Branch of the Delhi Police asking him to appear before the investigators at its Inter-State Cell office in Chanakyapuri on Monday noon, a senior police official said.
Suhail Hindustani, who has also been arrested in connection with the case, allegedly approached Singh on the intervening night of July 21 and 22, 2008 for striking a deal to buy BJP MPs.
Singh's questioning comes while former colleague Amar Singh was grilled by Delhi Police in the case.
The official said the agency would be questioning BJP MP Ashok Argal also who was sought to be allegedly bribed, and BJP leader L K Advani's former aide Sudheendra Kulkari, who allegedly organised a sting operation to expose the alleged buying of MPs during the 2008 trust vote.
