Warangal: Radha is pulled out of her house by furious women. For the next 20 minutes, the 28-year-old is attacked. Her hair is pulled, she is kicked in the stomach. Among those striking her, Laxmi, with whose husband Radha was allegedly having an affair.
That man stands by. The women shout abuses at him, but he is not touched. Radha faces their full fury. He tried to come to her rescue, but he wasn't able to stop the crowd from continuing its attack.
The chilling attack was filmed by local journalists.
Radha was shifted to hospital where she died on Monday. Of the nine people accused of her murder, the majority are women. Seven people have been arrested. Laxmi is unrepentant, "I pulled her out of her house by her hair and beat her to teach her a lesson."
Radha lived alone after her husband moved to Muscat.
