New Delhi: India is expecting a favourable verdict from a Denmark High Court on the extradition of Purulia arms drop case prime accused Kim Davy. But in a major goof-up, the CBI officers landed in Copenhagen with an arrest warrant for Davy that had expired four months back. The Danish High Court will hear the Kim Davy extradition case today and is expected to pronounce its verdict. But before that hearing began, Davy's lawyer pointed out that the arrest warrant had expired.
The CBI team reached Denmark on May 16 to assist local authorities in the case against Kim Davy and seek his extradition to India to face trial based on facts and evidence collected against him.
