CBI submits final report in Sohrabuddin case

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has submitted the final report in the Sohrabuddin fake encounter case to the Supreme Court.

The report is in a sealed cover. The court has directed that a copy of the report be given to the petitioner, Gujarat government and the accused.

The Supreme Court will take up the CBI report on 14th December; on the very same day the Court will take up the CBI plea to cancel Amit Shah's bail.

Amit Shah's bail case was supposed to come up tomorrow in the Supreme Court but Ram Jethmalani wanted an adjournment due to personal reasons.

The Court had already issued notice to Amit Shah asking why his bail should not be cancelled and had directed him to stay out of Gujarat.

Now Amit Shah will have to stay out of Gujarat till December 14.
