CBSE Class XII results for Delhi, Allahabad, Guwahati declared

New Delhi: The results of more than 6.99 lakh students who appeared for class XII CBSE board examination this year were declared on Friday.

The results are available on CBSE websites since 8.00am and CBSE has made special arrangement for quick access of results by individuals as well as schools, the Board said in a statement.

Schools will be able to get the entire result by registering their school code and email-id on CBSE websites.

Students too can get their results on their e-mail address by registering themselves on www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in and www.cbse.nic.in, it said.

The exams for class XII were held in March this year and the board saw an 8.80 per cent increase in the number of students sitting for the examination.

RESULT STATISTICS

Total 700983 candidates were registered for class XII examination from 6035 schools this year.
  
HIGHLIGHTS

• Overall pass percentage is 79.87.
• Girls do better than boys. Pass percentage of girls is 85.28 as compared to that of boys which is 75.90.
• Pass percentage of regular students is 81.95 as compared to 41.99 of private/ patrachar candidates.
• Over all pass percentage of Chennai Region is 92.17 which is the highest as compared to other regions.
