Pakistani soldiers today opened fire on Indian Army posts along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir's Akhnoor sector.
Pakistani Rangers used small arms and started firing at Indian posts at around 11:45 am.
The Indian Army has been returning fire, officials said, adding the firing is still on.
No injuries or casualties have been reported on the India side.
