Puducherry: Union Home Ministry has communicated to Puducherry government about the Centre's decision to induct V Bhalan, J Ayyanar and M Visweswaran as nominated members of Puducherry Assembly.
The government had sometime back forwarded the list to the Union Home Ministry. The nomination has been done in keeping with the provisions of the Section 3 (3) of the Government of Union Territories Act 1963, a release said.
They would be formally inducted as nominated members on September 4, 2014.
Mr Bhalan and Mr Ayyanar are the functionaries of the ruling All India N R Congress (AINRC) and Mr Visweswaran is the president of Puducherry State unit of the BJP.
