New Delhi: The government has asked the CBI to investigate the organization of activist Teesta Setalvad, who has been accused of embezzling funds meant for Gujarat riot victims.
The home ministry has ordered the agency to freeze the accounts of Teesta Setalvad's company.
The CBI has also been asked to investigate the transfer of funds from US-based Ford Foundation to Ms Setalvad's company Sabrang.
