Darbhanga: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today termed as "irresponsible" and "garrulous" the comments by the Central government on the Army's operation against NSCN-K camps in Myanmar.
"Garrulousness about hot pursuit on a sensitive international issue is an irresponsible activity of the Union government," Mr Kumar told reporters at Darbhanga where he had gone to attend a marriage function of a party leader's ward.
"Neighbouring country Myanmar extended cooperation in making the Army operation inside the country successful...it's not a good diplomacy to show a country weak," Mr Kumar, a prominent JD(U) leader, said.
Kumar said the NDA government's boastful statements on Myanmar attack proved that it lacked "sensitivity" towards a matter having International ramification.
