New Delhi:
A day after Pakistan charged Hafiz Saeed under the anti-terror act, he's still to be arrested and now the big question that many are asking is whether it's just an eyewash. The 26/11 mastermind will get away yet again like he has done on several occasions in the past because the case against him is weak.
A K Dogar, his lawyer, speaking to NDTV, has rubbished the two FIRs saying they are ridiculous.
He says the two FIRs against Saeed do not even fall under the provisions of the Anti-Terror Act. So does this mean that the case will fall apart in court even if Saeed is arrested?
Meanwhile, India's Foreign Minister SM Krishna has said that India will be satisfied only when Saeed is booked for his role in the Mumbai attacks.
On Friday, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that Pakistan's action against Saeed was some movement forward.
So what difference, if any, will the filing of charges against Hafiz Saeed make to the upcoming talks between India and Pakistan on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
