Korba, Chhattisgarh:
At least 15 workers have been killed and some 50 are still trapped under debris, after the chimney of a 1,200 MW power plant, under construction at Chhattisgarh's Korba town, collapsed.
About 100 workers and engineers were engaged in the construction work when the disaster took place, some 250 km north of state capital Raipur.
PTI adds: Extra security personnel have been deployed at the spot to contain workers' anger and deal with any untoward situation, a senior police official said. District Collector Ashok Agrawal has rushed to the site to take stock of the situation.
