Raipur: Union Home Minister P Chidambaram met the chief ministers of Chhattisgarh and Orissa in Raipur on Friday to discuss ways and means of tackling the Maoist challenge in their respective states.
On the agenda was closing possible escape routes of Naxals and deployment strategy of forces in Orissa, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh borders.
While the Centre wants Jharkhand to continue anti-Naxal operations, Shibu Soren, the Chief Minister of the Naxal hit state, is against it.
