Chief Minister's office to be brought under Lokpal in Bihar: Nitish Kumar

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced that the office of the Chief Minister will be brought under the purview of the Lokpal in the state to make it more effective.

Announcing it in his blog today, Nitish said an amendment to this effect in the present Lokpal Bill will be introduced in the winter session of the Bihar Assembly.

The chief minister also announced that more houses of corrupt officers will be seized in the next few months.
