Bijnor (UP):
Three children were allegedly tortured for several hours and their house usurped by a man who claimed that they had smashed the windscreen of his car, police said in Bijnor.
Aamir, Ausaf and Adil, aged between 10 and 13 years and sons of a rickshaw puller were allegedly tied to a tree, beaten up and their heads tonsured on Wednesday for smashing the windscreen at village Kalheri near Bijnor.
The man also forcibly took the thumb impressions of the family "mortgaging" their house with him when they failed to pay Rs 50,000 for the damage, police added.
