Hyderabad: It was a close call for Chiranjeevi. The actor-politician was in danger of being electrocuted on Tuesday.
Chiranjeevi, the chief of the Praja Rajyam Party, was campaigning for his party candidate for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections. Chiranjeevi was standing in his open-top campaign vehicle when it passed under some electric wires, which were hanging dangerously low. Party workers tried to lift the wires with a stick, and suddenly, sparks flew all around them. Chiranjeevi, who is the MLA from Tirupati, ducked.
He later continued with his campaigning.
