Church attacked in Bangalore
Bangalore: Unidentified persons damaged two statues of Jesus and Mary besides breaking the window panes of a church in Anekal taluk in Bangalore on Thursday, police said.

"The incident occurred in the wee hours. The miscreants broke the window panes of SFS church and also damaged the statues of Infant Jesus and Mother Mary on the roadside just outside the church", police said.

Karnataka Home Minister V S Acharya described it as a "minor incident" and said the case would be investigated.

Similar incidents of attacks on churches had occurred in the state last year.
