Cold wave conditions prevailed in parts of Rajasthan where Churu remained the coldest place with a minimum temperature of 1.7 degrees Celsius followed by Mount Abu.
Churu recorded a minimum of 1.7 degrees while the state's sole hill station Mount Abu shivered at 3 degrees Celsius.
Sriganganagar, Jaipur, Bikaner, Ajmer and Kota registered minimum of 5.1, 5.2, 6.8, 7.2 and 8.2 degrees Celsius respectively whereas the night temperature was above 9.5 degrees Celsius, a Met department official in Jaipur.
There were also report of ground frost in areas like Sikar, Jhunjhunu and nearby region, he said.
Meanwhile, due to fog conditions in northern region, 11 trains are running late up to 6 hours, a North Western Railway spokesperson informed.
