The chief of America's Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Leon Panetta, is on a visit to India.
In New Delhi, he met with Home Minister P Chidambaram and the chief of India's Research-and-Analysis Wing (RAW). The CIA chief was accompanied by the US Ambassador to India, Timothy Roemer.
Sources have told NDTV that the CIA Chief and India's Home Minister discussed security threats to the region. The CIA chief also shared information culled from Pakistani intelligence, sources said.
