Muzaffarnagar: A 38-year-old man was killed and six other injured in a clash between two groups at Ghari Hasanpur village under Jhinjhana police station in Shamli district, police said today.
A confrontation between Aleem (38) and Rehmani over a property dispute yesterday, snowballed into a violent clash between groups in which Aleem sustained serious injuries, police said.
He was rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead, they said.
The other injured were receiving treatment at a hospital.
Security has been tightened and extra police force was deployed in the area following the incident, police added.
