Srinagar: A cloudburst in Jammu and Kashmir's Baltal on Friday night caused flash floods near the Amarnath Yatra base camp but all pilgrims are reported to be safe, police said.
"Cloudburst struck near Baltal base camp and water entered some tents there. However, all yatris are reported safe so far," a police official said.
He said the pilgrims have been moved to safer places.
The Srinagar-Leh highway has been closed because of the flash flood, officials said.
