CNG prices to go up by upto Rs 1.90 from midnight

New Delhi: The price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) has been hiked by upto Rs 1.9 per kg in Delhi and adjoining areas. The new consumer price of Rs 35.65 per kg in Delhi would be effective from 12:00 midnight of 5th/6th March 2012.

The revision in price would result in increase of Rs 1.90 per kg in the consumer price of CNG in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad. The new consumer price in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad will be Rs. 39.80 per kg.

This hike comes barely two months after the prices were hiked by Rs 2 on 31st December 2011.
